Well, we all had a beautiful day with no hitches, the weather was so glorious it really made the day even more special.
The happy couple with my Mum and Niece.
My mum who is now so frail, enjoyed seeing her last daughter married, she even managed the Reception but as soon as the coffee was finished I took her back to her Nursing Home, she was happy but completely exhausted.
The cakes were a triumph and the cake topper birds I made were very much adored by the bride and groom.
Here are a few close ups just so you get the picture, they were styled on the same theme as the heart favours in the last post, recycled lace and scraps of fabric.
My sister (the bride) found this horse shoe in her garden some months ago, so with a lick of paint and some handmade organza Flowers I transformed it so my niece could give it to her.
A lovely day and very fond memories.
