I took this photo about a week ago, this is our village green it looked so pretty and picture postcard.
But on a practical note this weather is a nightmare to most people. Luckily I managed to get to work most of the week, but on returning home after a late shift last Friday night I got stuck on our estate road, the snow on the road was still deep and it had turned to icy slush. Apparently I was not going fast enough to get through it and the car just stopped and stalled. Trying to move was impossible, the wheels just went into a spin. It took about six people to push me into the drive, exhausting..... Is there any sign we are over the worst, I don't believe the weather forecasters anymore. I didn't get to Harrogate either, but looking forward to a day in York soon, weather permitting !!!

Getting tired of the snow now - it stops me doing what I want to do!
Snow is only ever fun when you've got the time to enjoy it. When it impacts on everyday life its a complete pain.
Lovely scene, but I know you all struggle with the snow over there. We have yet to see a flake - which makes me think lots is on the way for us here in the northeast usa. xox Corrine
Great picture, this could be your Christmas card template ! I feel I have ski's on my car in my street at the moment.... I wonder if you are going to York the same day as me.
Lovely to meet u today in tea & tipple, nice blog, will return to see what u r up to and maybe bump into you at FRH.hope ypu managed to sort a screen printing course out.
Just discovered your blog, nice to come across other bloggers in Northumberland with similar interests. Nothing more frustrating than surviving a long journey home in the snow then getting stuck in sight of your own front door!!!
